Delete your PriceSage account and data
You can delete your PriceSage account, and remove your data from our systems, at any time. It's free and takes less than a minute. PriceSage is operated by Upper Hand Integrations.
Delete it in the app
- Open PriceSage and sign in.
- Tap the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Delete my account (at the bottom of the menu).
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account and data.
Your account and data are deleted immediately and you're signed out. This can't be undone. You're welcome to sign up again later, but you'll start fresh.
Can't use the app?
Email hello@pricesage.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll delete your account and data within 7 days and reply to confirm. If you write from a different address, we'll ask you to confirm you own the account first.
What's deleted
- Your account: your sign-in email and password
- The people you shop for: names, ages, relationships, interests, notes, budgets, and their birthdays and holidays
- Gift ideas, wish lists from guest shopper mode, and your "Already has it" and "Not a fit" choices
- Price watches, alert prices, alerts, and your order history (items marked bought and Buy taps)
- Your family memberships and any "I'll get this" gift picks. People you shared with a family stop being shared. If you organized a family, the longest-standing member takes over so the rest of the family keeps its lists.
- Your notification registration, so no more alerts are sent to your devices
- Photos of people you shop for, which were only ever stored on your device (they're removed from the device you delete from, and from any device when you uninstall the app)
What's kept
- Nothing that identifies you. We keep anonymous totals, such as the cost of generating gift ideas and app usage statistics, which are no longer linked to your account or email.
- Product prices and price history for items in our stores. These describe products, not you, and are shared by everyone who watches them.
- Deleted data may remain in encrypted database backups for a short time until those backups expire.
- Retailers and affiliate networks keep their own records of purchases you made on their sites, under their own privacy policies.
